My Story

My name is Dennis Clem and in 2018 in Middletown, Va. I started a small blacksmithing business. We are now located in Fort Valley, Va.and In April of 2022 we took the step of making this a full time career. In a way following in the footsteps of my great grandfather Richard Clem who started his own business that is in its 4th generation .My passion is historical work but I enjoy working with metal in any way from forging to fabricating. We started out doing a few 1850/1860era civilian living histories here in the shenandoah valley that progresses into doing public demonstrations and other events at several different venues including Belle Grove Plantation, Virginia Museum of the Civil War, and several events for the towns of Middletown and Strasburg, Va.
